2010-2011 Auditions
Scripts and Audition packets are availiable two weeks before each audition date. There is a $5 deposit to check-out a script which will be returned when the script is returned. You can pick them up at the theatre during box office hours or contact us at kaleb@sgtheatre.com
Auditions are "cold reads" meaning those who audition will read selected scenes from the script in small groups on stage. Auditions are held in a friendly atmosphere and directors explain all information needed before the readings begin.
All auditions are open to the public. We would love to have you join our SGT family!!!
In addition to cast, there will be a need for volunteers including sound and lighting.
A stage manager and crew of four will be needed back-stage and we
always need volunteers to help with set construction, painting, and clean-up.
Season of Worship
Beacon in the Night – Monday September 20th – 4 Men, & 7 Women – On Christmas Eve, shortly before the death of his wife, Vic Lawson promised her that he would one day carry out his dream of giving a special Christmas gift to God. He would build a towering neon cross anchored high on a mountaintop above the Arizona desert. The cross would be a Beacon in the Night proclaiming the love of God.

The Praying Man – Monday November 15th – 5 men, 5 Women, 1 Girl & 2 Boys – Fifty years ago in Belle Plains, Texas, a young boy committed an unspeakable act of evil. The town urchin was blamed and driven from Belle Plains. He vowed to take his revenge. Today, the town is still haunted by its “night of shame,” but few are willing to even speak of the event. Rumor has it that a wealthy stranger has come to town buying up property. Could he be the one they’ve feared would come? Into this situation, God sends Tanner, a young man of prayer, calling him into a spiritual life-and-death struggle.
